Who We Are

K-Beauty Audit is an independent decision-support and research service for people evaluating aesthetic, cosmetic, dermatology, plastic surgery, and clinic options in Korea.

K-Beauty Audit provides informational audit reports that may include quote comparison, price context, clinic and doctor background research, Korean-language and international reputation signal review, consultation and sales-dynamics assessment, and questions a customer may want to ask before committing to a clinic.

K-Beauty Audit is not a clinic, doctor, hospital, broker, medical tourism agency, or healthcare provider. We do not provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, medical suitability assessments, or outcome guarantees.

K-Beauty Audit is paid by clients, not clinics. We do not sell user-submitted clinic quote, procedure-related, or audit-intake information to clinics.

Payments are processed by Stripe or another payment processor we may use in the future.

When you make a purchase, the payment processor may collect payment details, billing information, transaction information, and related payment data under its own privacy policy and terms.

K-Beauty Audit may receive limited payment-related information, such as your name, email address, order details, purchase amount, payment status, and transaction confirmation.

We do not intentionally collect or store your full credit card number or complete payment credentials on our own systems.

Email and Waitlist Communications

If you contact us, request an audit, purchase a service, or join a waitlist, we may send you emails related to your inquiry, purchase, audit, report delivery, waitlist status, or service updates.

We may use Gmail and/or third-party email, waitlist, form, or customer communication tools to manage these messages.

If you sign up for marketing, waitlist, or promotional emails, you may unsubscribe at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the email, if available, or by contacting us at:

Service-related emails, such as purchase confirmations, audit communications, report delivery, customer support, or policy updates, may still be sent even if you unsubscribe from marketing emails.

Data Retention

We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, prepare and deliver audit reports, respond to users, maintain business records, resolve disputes, comply with legal obligations, improve our internal processes, and protect our rights.

For MVP, our intended retention approach is:

  • Audit intake materials. Audit intake forms, screenshots, uploaded files, clinic messages, quote documents, and consultation notes: retained for up to 1 year after report delivery, unless a longer period is reasonably needed for customer support, dispute resolution, legal compliance, security, or business records.
  • Reports and orders. Delivered audit reports and customer/order records: retained for as long as reasonably necessary for business, tax, accounting, legal, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping purposes.
  • Payments. Payment-related records: retained as needed for payment confirmation, accounting, taxes, fraud prevention, chargebacks, and legal compliance. Full payment details are processed by our payment processor.
  • Waitlist and email. Waitlist and email information: retained until you unsubscribe, request deletion, or the information is no longer needed.
  • Analytics. Website analytics data: retained according to the settings of Google Analytics or other analytics providers we use.

You may request deletion of your personal information by contacting:

kbeautyaudit@gmail.com

We may decline or limit a deletion request where we need to retain information for legal, tax, accounting, security, dispute-resolution, fraud-prevention, or legitimate business reasons.

Use of AI-Assisted Tools

K-Beauty Audit may use AI-assisted tools to support internal tasks such as translation, summarization, research organization, drafting, editing, quality review, and report preparation.

AI-assisted tools may help us organize information, summarize submitted materials, translate or review Korean-language and English-language content, and prepare internal drafts. These tools do not replace human review of the final audit report.

Information you submit may be processed through AI-assisted tools where reasonably necessary to provide the requested service, improve workflow, or prepare an informational audit.

You should not submit information that you do not want processed through online tools, third-party software, or AI-assisted systems.

K-Beauty Audit does not use user-submitted clinic quote or procedure-related information to provide medical advice, diagnosis, treatment recommendations, or medical suitability assessments.

We do not use user-submitted clinic quote, procedure-related, or audit-intake information to train a public AI model operated by K-Beauty Audit. If this changes, we will update this Privacy Policy as appropriate.
